Hello all quick question does anyone have any information on when the uk base maps will arrive.

Sorry i just realised this is in the wrong topic was just hoping that someone from waze may read is and let us know what is going on. the last update i can find was a delay till 08/2010 and this date has long gone.

Hi everyone!

we shifted the resources to work on improving and extending the infrastructure as we do not want to add more maps that will further overload the system, without dealing with the infrastructure. we need to do more elaborate architectural changes so that not each map causes problems to the world-wide users. As we are growing fast, this is a real necessity and unfortunately delays the UK (and other's) map.
