A friend of mine has sent me numerous pings and I never get them. When I send them, he gets them, his replies are not received... Any ideas?
Currently yes. Seems to be a server issue, worked in this release fine previously.

I have not been able to connect to the WAZE network via 3G for several days. Connect fine when in WIFI. When traveling I get a "Searching network..." message at the top of the screen. This has been happening for several days.
An idea what is going on?

Have you tried toggling Airplane mode or restarting your device?

I find red light camera alerts to be really annoying. I think many of them are false alerts (possibly mistaking traffic sensors for enforcement cams?), and I wish I could just mute the audible alerts so they don't interrupt my music and podcasts. It's not like I'm going to plow through red lights anyway.
Could this be a toggle in a future version, please?

It probably will be added in a future version. If the camera alerts are incorrect, you could go to the map and see if you can remove them. If they are giving an alert, that means someone reported them from the app and then they or someone else confirmed them in the editor.
