I have found that when I try to find a restaurant without the address or something that is a ways away, it doesn't show up on the local search. I always end up going through google or even the regular iPhone maps to find the address then pasting it into waze. Would it be possible to link it with google so that you could search for anything and it would find it regardless of distance? Also, could you add a way to search for city centers. A lot of the time I end up just going to a place in the city to navigate there, whereas the city center would be easier. This one is just a nit-picky thing but just a thought.

Instead of using an address, I created a Marked Location, which was right next to a main road (about 75 feet away). The client recorded a location of "0 - 0, City Name". I made this marked location a favorite and the next day when I drove there, I selected Search, Favorites, and selected the favorite. The problem is that the routing was wrong. Instead of the routing me to the GPS location and using roads that get as close as possible to that specific GPS location, it locked onto some other location in the same City and tried to route me there.

I sent my waze directory files to the alpha email address this morning for another problem, in case those are useful for this problem too.

Yes, there are problems with search. I've had problems searching for street names, even if they are listed on the map. Sometimes the street name does not come up in the search results.

I tried to find Monte Villa Pkwy, Bothell, WA which I edited myself and see on the live map, but it doesn't come up in search.

Having problems finding our new apartment complex on the search... The address is:

8000 W Crestline Ave
Littleton, CO 80123-1252

The closest Crestline Ave address showing up is 6806 W. Crestline Ave, Denver, CO, and it's about a mile away...

Yes, my neighborhood is not on the maps at all. Its newer, but has been around since 2004. I am trying out the map editing to check it out and maybe fix it. My house number is obviously not in it at all. My brothers house is also not listed. He is a street off. How specific would you like us to be?

Where do you guys get the POI database from? Would you be able to get Google Maps database? Several addresses still are not in the database. Also, would there be any way of implementing a way to import your contacts addresses from the phonebook?

The maps are actually a lot more accurate outside of my area. I live in a newer section, so I have been correcting things. :D

So far I have been teaching its routes. As far as the search function though, It seems to usually find the road it is on. Except the other day, I put in an address for Madeira Beach near St Pete FL, and it pulled up 10 places in Pennsylvania. Whats the best way to search for an address? I just put everything in to the search box. Have you thought of doing a search by State, city, and then address? Break it down. Im not sure if that would help.

Keep up the good work though.
